When my sister's and I visited Granda Orr on a Sunday I remember us being told there's no television on a Sunday.  Now days kids would be amazed and annoyed at such a thing, going without their phones, iPads and tv's for a whole day!  But truth be told it was a special time.  We listened to Grandas stories and tall tales and went for drives in his car.  No TV, no mobiles and no social media to distract us from what really matters.  Human interaction and having real conversations is rare now so I remember fondly all those Sundays spent in Portavogie and all Grandas stories and think maybe if we all switched of all our tv's, mobiles and devices even one Sunday a month and spent time talking to each other we would all be happier.
